Trial Limitations
Please note that the trial version will have some limitations. None of those trial limitations should
keep you from fully evaluating the product!
- PowerSearch is limited to 50 Modules.
- DevCompare Tool functionality will not show differences in Trigger sources (program units however will work!) and the result cannot be saved/printed.
- DevReports cannot be saved.

FormsTool supports all new modern Microsoft Windows and Oracle Forms/Reports versions:
- Oracle Forms & Reports 5.0, 6.0, 6i, 9i, 10g, 10gR2, 11g (32bit only - V3.0 supports 64bit)
- Microsoft Windows Win2k, WinXP, Win2k3, Win2k8, Vista, Windows7
- 20MB free Harddisk space and at least 256mb Ram

FormsTool V3.0 is a complete rewrite and adds many new features as well as finally adding long awaited support for Forms11gR2-64bit.
The new version as released as BETA until all major features are included and the tool is showing to run stable.
New features and changes:
- DevCompare now supports 3-Way compares and Directories
- PowerSearch search results can be edited
- New BatchAdmin tool (for compile/convert/upgrade/etc)
- New more modern graphical user interface
- Oracle Forms & Reports 5.0, 6.0 is no longer tested/supported
- Requires WinXP, Win2k3, Win2k8 at minimum, designed for Vista, Windows7
- FormsTool now accepts valid FormsAPI Master license keys
Installation and other tips:
- IMPORTANT: When installing the 32bit version on a 64bit system then make sure you don't use the default "C:\Program Files(x86)" directory. If you install it there then the tool won't be able to connect to any Oracle database - this is a known Oracle OCI/Listener bug, Directories with parentheses in the name will fail!
- The Forms10gR2 API seems to have issues loading complex modules unless you are connected to a database. Make sure you use the database connection settings when loading Form modules!
- Loading of *.pll library modules require a database connection.
