Merging files removes comments

   Hi,
Using FormsTool V3.0 (350) with a Forms 12c installation, I'm comparing two versions of a PLL file in 3-way compare mode. Only one procedure has changes.
After merging what I want in base module, I save it.
However after reloading (F5), it appears that FormsTool has removed all comments located outside a PL/SQL block, even in unchanged program units.

For example, in both OLD and NEW files I have the same content in program unit A, e.g.:
-- change 08/06/2021 >>>
PROCEDURE A IS
BEGIN
...
END;
-- <<< change 08/06/2021
After saving changes made in program unit B, if I open the merged file in Forms Builder, program unit A doesn't have its 'change 08/06/2021' comments anymore.

Is there any way to avoid this?

	i vaguely remember there was such an issue and I think that got fixed in build 351 - at least i can't reproduce the problem anymore. Can you give the latest version a try? Regards, Stefan

	Hi, Thanks for your answer. I'm sorry to ask, but where can I actually download build 351 ? On FormsTool's download page, the latest stable release is still build 350. Regards

	That's actually version 4.0 - it says "beta" but it actually runs very stable - please download the latest V4.0 version of our tools! Regards, Stefan

	As per your advice, I downloaded FormsTool 4.0 and tried to merge the libraries with this version. Unfortunately, the problem persists - upon saving, off-block comments are removed. FYI, now when I launch FormsTool from command line, the following message is being displayed in the console: [0524/160136:ERROR:main_delegate.cc(724)] Could not load locale pak for en-US FormsTool launches after that though, and this message is probably unrelated to the problem at hand. Any other idea for preventing the loss of our comments? Regards
